Gladiator

  Gladiator is one of the most famous action film in this decade :5 Oscars (out of 12 Nominations) including Best Picture and Best Actor in leading role.

 Russell Crowe offered kind of his best performance in the career , playing Maximus , a powerful Roman general who was choosen by the Emperor  to claim the throne after he died.

 The more powerful you become , the more enemy you will have.

 The Emperor's son knew the plan and decided to do everything in order to fullfill his power-hunger.Maximus was driven into vengeance and hate : his family was murdered.Maximus himself became a slave and was put into the cruel ancient Gladiator games of the Roman where he would have to fight until he dies.

 Maximus considered this as the only chance that he could face his enemy by fighting to be the best of the Gladiators.

Director Ridley Scott delivered  stunning action scences, amazing visual effects to bring you back to the ancient Rome.The movie has a simple but moving story.The characters are emotional and were being played perfectly by the actors. 9/10
