If you love action movies , the movies on TV this weekend will definitely give you a good time.

This is one of my favourite action movies.It's soooooooo classical

Nicolas Cage , who already won 1 Oscar for his role in "Leaving Las Vegas", plays Cameron Poe.Highly decorated US Ranger Officer Cameron came home to visit his wife Tricia (Monica Potter) and was convicted of manslaughter by killing a drunk man in order to defend her.After 8years being imprisoned , he finally became eligible to go home.

He could have never thought of such a nightmare on his way home.He was on a flight with some most dangerous criminals of the country , who got a plan to escape.Was being in the Army , Cameron could not just sit there and let the bad things happen...

Will he be able to stop the plan and come home safe ? You will get the answer after 115 mins watching this great action movie.

With thrilling action scences  and interesting story line , this movie definitely worth watching even if you are NOT a fan of action movies (like me )

I have watched this movie so many times and still , I can't get enough of it.

I rated it 8/10

"How do I live" , the main song of Con Air's soundtrack , was also nominated in Oscar 1998 for best OST.

Con Air will be on  ORF 1 at 23.50 this Saturday (06.12.08)
